Intern Spotlight: Blow Molding Engineers

Welcome to the second installment of Gemini Group’s “Intern Spotlight” series, created to celebrate our bright young interns as they build the skills they need to thrive in today’s workplace. The series will feature new interns each week, grouped by Gemini Group location.

 

This week we’re highlighting an engineering duo working at Gemini Group‘s blow molding facility, Regency Plastics. They are just two of Gemini Group’s 33 summer interns spread among nine locations and 26 departments. Stay tuned to meet more talented young professionals in next week’s edition.

Kendal Delpiere – Engineering Intern

Secondary Education: Bad Axe High School

 

Post-Secondary Education: Lake Superior State University

 

Area of Interest: Mechanical Engineering

 

Internship Goals: Gaining experience in his field and learning all he can from his mentor.

 

Interesting Fact: Kendal is a Cross Country and Track college athlete at Lake Superior State University.

Secondary Education: Grand Ledge High School

 

Post-Secondary Education: Saginaw Valley State University

 

Area of Interest: Mechanical Engineering

 

Internship Goals: Learning about the tooling side of engineering, developing proficiency with manufacturing machinery, getting the T1XX line up and running, and developing connections in the manufacturing industry.

 

Interesting Fact: As an Army Airborne, Cody has taken off in more planes than he’s landed in.
