Ford for the multifunctional cargo management deployable shelf on the 2018 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. The system, supplied by the Gemini Group's Valley Enterprises Inc., uses injection molding to produce the bins, components and actuation linkages. The cargo management systems are made from LG Chem ABS and Washington Penn Plastics polypropylene materials supplied by Chase Plastics to meet appearance and load requirements. Reliable & Reasonable Tool Service LLC and Buiter Tool & Die Inc. supply the tooling.

The Expedition and Navigator cargo management system is just the latest in innovation from Gemini Group and Valley Enterprises, whose interior trim operations include 28 cargo management and load floor programs. Twelve of these programs used Baypreg lightweighting technology and Valley was design responsible for seven of the programs. Valley also uses a 3,000-ton injection molder for these programs.

Congratulation to Gemini Group‘s Valley Enterprises team for making it to the finalist stage of the SPE Automotive Innovation Awards!
